Thank you to all the participants in our Spring Carnival Triple QRE! It was great to see archers in all age groups and divisions, including longbow, barebow, crossbow, recurve and compound bow participating in the three events.

Congratulations to Josh Webb, who took out The Dave Allery Field Trophy in exceptionally humid conditions on Saturday morning. The fun continued with an indoor shoot at the Angaston venue on Saturday afternoon.

After overnight rain, the Dennis Rothe Memorial was shot in blustery conditions, posing an additional challenge which was met well by the competitors. Congratulations to Mick Lange for a fine performance.

Mick Lange also took out the trophy for the best combined result over the three events.

Special thanks to Graeme Hahn who coordinated the tournament and Mick Lange who officiated on the weekend in addition to participating.

Finally, thank you to our sponsors, who support the club, and the Barossa members who spent weeks preparing the ranges to be in top condition for the carnival. They ran the behind-the-scene operations (all the important stuff from running the timers, to putting out targets, baking delicious biscuits and putting on the barbecue) which are crucial to putting on a successful event.

See you on the range soon!

Please enjoy these highlights from the weekend.
