The Barossa Archery Carnival is fast becoming a “must attend” event on the SA Archery Calendar. Please consider spending the weekend in our beautiful region and join us for:
Saturday 2 November 2024
DAVE ALLERY FIELD TOURNAMENT
ROUND: 24t WA Field (Marked Distance – AA Registered)
AM: 9:30 practice for 10:00 start, Archery Road, Tanunda
The Dave Allery Field Shoot Trophy to be awarded to the individual highest off-bow score regardless of class/classification.
Medals will be awarded to the place-getters in all divisions (barebow, compound, crossbow, longbow and recurve). Places are strictly limited to 48 archers maximum.
Entry is open to all age groups and bow types. Archers Shoot from Blue, Yellow and Red pegs as defined by Archery Australia Shooting Rules Schedule 4B.3 (Note the update for 60+ and 70+, updated February 2024).
Entrance fee: $20
Cool drinks ($2) and tea and coffee available.
INDOOR QRE
ROUND: WA 18m QRE Registered
PM: 3:30 practice for 4:00 start, Archery Hall, Angaston Show Grounds, Angaston.
The indoor QRE is an Archery Australia Qualification and Ranking Event (QRE). Places limited to 20 archers (8 x 40cm single face, 12 x triple face).
Entrance fee: $10
SATURDAY DINNER
A social dinner is scheduled with a booking made at the Brauhaus hotel Angaston.
Location: Brauhaus Hotel, 41 Murray St Angaston
When: Saturday 2 November, 6:30pm

Sunday 3 November 2024
DENNIS ROTHE MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
ROUND: Canberra/Short Canberra/Junior Canberra as per Archery Australia Shooting Rules Schedule 4B.1 – AA Registered Tournament.
Archers who are not comfortable or experienced shooting the maximum distance of the Schedule 4B.1 Canberra Round can elect ot shoot a shorter distance (ie Junior Canberra – 40m/30m/20m, or Short Canberra 50m/40m/30m) and be eligible for the Barossa Archery Club encouragement awards.
AM: 9:30 practice for 10:00 start, Archery Road Tanunda
the Dennis Rothe Memorial Trophy is awarded to the archer with the best off-bow score from the full Canberra Round.
Other medals (Gold, Silver, Bronze) are awarded to the highest score for each division when shot against the relevant Schedule 4B.1 Canberra Round (barebow, compound, crossbow, longbow and recurve).
Places are strictly limited to a maximum of 30 archers.
Entrance fee: $20
BBQ Lunch: $10 per person (optional)
Cool drinks ($2) and tea and coffee available.
BAROSSA CARNIVAL TROPHY
The Barossa Carnival Trophy is awarded to the highest cumulative handicap score across each of the the three weekend shoots. Handicaps are as per Archery Australia Shooting Rules section 4.3.
